SDR Security Consulting was created because I have seen firsthand the gap between what many security guards are taught and what they are actually expected to handle on the job. Too often, security personnel are placed in complex situations without the tools, confidence, or professional grounding needed to succeed. That gap doesn’t just affect performance—it affects safety, morale, and how the entire profession is perceived.
My goal is to help security professionals build a strong foundation from day one, grounded in character, professionalism, and practical competence. When security personnel understand not just what to do, but why it matters and how to do it well, they perform with confidence and credibility. By mentoring, training, and setting clear standards, I aim to contribute to a more professional, respected, and capable security industry.

I am a security professional, trainer, and mentor with extensive experience in frontline security operations and leadership. Throughout my career I have worked with security personnel at all stages of their development, from new guards entering the industry to experienced professionals seeking to refine their skills and advance their careers. My approach is rooted in real-world experiences, practical expectations, and a clear understanding of what professionalism looks like on the ground, not just on paper.
As the founder of SDR Security Consulting, my focus is on elevating the standard of security work in Ontario through structured training, mentorship, and professional development. I believe security professionals deserve more than basic compliance training; they deserve guidance, coaching, and clear pathways to competence, credibility, and trust. Everything I develop is designed to be practical, realistic, and directly applicable to the environments security personnel operate in every day.
